The first fishing expedition of the year has already begun for the three vessels of Globalpesca, and this time all three factory ships will head to the South Atlantic.
The first to set sail was the Globalpesca I, under the command of Captain Henry Almonacid, last Wednesday, January 10. It was followed by the Globalpesca III, led by Captain Claudio Carrillo on Monday, January 15, and the Globalpesca II, with Captain Mauricio Zamorano, on Tuesday, January 16.
Prior to each departure, the teams gathered for a safety briefing conducted by safety specialist Pablo Águila, and joint committees were established to meet once a month during the expedition.
