With the aim of promoting the sustainable development of the fishing sector, Globalpesca supports the work of the Fisheries Development Institute (IFOP), through the permanent embarkation of scientific observers, who carry out research on deepwater cod. Among them, monitoring and collecting biological data, in addition to determining the age and growth of the species in order to evaluate the fishery from its origin.
